New HEX/TORX IBOMBO multitool (PATENT PENDING)

We are introducing another improvement that significantly enhances the functionality of IBOMBO public bike repair stations and increases their durability in everyday use. The latest 2-in-1 TORX/HEX Multitool with an integrated swivel replaces two separate tools previously used, streamlining the station’s equipment and noticeably improving user comfort. This solution is covered by a global patent procedure (PATENT PENDING) and has been standard equipment for the IBOMBO PRS-SCANDIC and IBOMBO PRS-LV2 models for several weeks.

The new multitool is designed for intensive, year-round use in public spaces such as bike paths, city squares, campuses, and transport hubs. Combining TORX and HEX keys in one tool allows users to perform most basic bicycle adjustments—from brakes and derailleurs to the stem, handlebar, and saddle—without the need for multiple separate tools.

The multitool body is made from AISI 304 and AISI 420 stainless steel, providing high resistance to mechanical damage and weather conditions. Nickel-plated working tips further protect the AISI 420 steel from corrosion, increasing durability and extending the overall lifespan of the component.
